Using The Half for your audition preparation.

What the app does

The Half helps you organise auditions and prepare briefs, plans and reminders. AI-generated material can be wrong. Check dates, deadlines, instructions and factual claims against your original material and with your agent or casting contact. A brief is preparation support, not a guarantee of an audition outcome.

Your material and account

The app is intended for actors aged 16 and over. Only add material you have permission to use and send for processing. You retain your rights in your material; processing and optional sync are described in our privacy notice. Respect casting confidentiality and other people’s copyright. Keep access to your device and account secure.

Fair use

Do not use the service to harm others, bypass security or overload the API. Usage limits apply to keep the service available. We may suspend access for misuse or security reasons.

Launch and pricing

Joining the waitlist asks us to email you when the app launches. It does not guarantee a launch date or start a subscription. Paid subscriptions will be optional and bought through the App Store when available; the price and renewal terms will be shown before purchase. Apple handles payments and subscription management.

Availability and your rights

The service may change as we improve it and may be interrupted for maintenance or security. We will provide it with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes your statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Leaving

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account in Settings. You can ask to leave the waitlist by emailing us. See our privacy notice for how deletion and optional sync work.

Changes

We will update the date above when these terms change and bring material changes to your attention.
